I just got to say, with every album MIKA puts out, I get to hear and feel something amazing. It’s elation, it’s wonder, it’s amazement at how far he’s come, how much further he has to go. It is.. essentially.. the evolution of a person, from his childhood to the teen years and now with his latest album, I feel as he feels. Finally a little more put together, still containing echoes of the past, but ready for what may come. Adulthood. From the beginning, his songs manage to strike a chord with some or the other situation in my life, and I have all his albums to date.
Someday, I’m going to see this man in concert, and it would be my single biggest regret if I didn’t live long enough to accomplish that.
