What I say vs. what I really mean
What I say: I appreciate you replying for the survey.
What I mean: You're not appearing in my thesis at all. Its filled with typos. And slang. Even a kindergartener knows better grammar than you.
What I say: I need a lot of replies to this survey.
What I mean: I need you to send this to your friends, and spam people. Yes.
What I say: It'll take five minutes.
What I mean: Its going to take forever if you answer in detail, but five minutes if you just say yes or no.

When things don’t work out after you’ve pushed so hard for it.
When you’ve fought and stood your ground but its taken from you, anyway.
When you put so much hope and promise into something,
made from your hands, your hard work and faith..
But it never saw the light of day.

ON SEEING THE 100% PERFECT GIRL ONE BEAUTIFUL...
youmightfindyourself:
by Haruki Murakami
One beautiful April morning, on a narrow side street in Tokyo’s fashionable Harujuku neighborhood, I walked past the 100% perfect girl. Tell you the truth, she’s not that good-looking. She doesn’t stand out in any way. Her clothes are nothing special. The back of her hair is still bent out of shape from sleep. She isn’t young, either - must be near...
