If You Forget Me by Pablo Neruda
I want you to know one thing.  You know how this is:  if I look  at the crystal moon, at the red branch  of the slow autumn at my window,  if I touch  near the fire  the impalpable ash  or the wrinkled body of the log,  everything carries me to you,  as if everything that exists,  aromas, light, metals,  were little boats  that sail  toward those isles of yours that wait for me.  Well, now,  if...

KONY 2012 →
Taken from Wong Fu Productions blog, here are a list of articles for those concerned about Joseph Kony and the campaign against him by Invisible Children. Its great that so many people care, but please try to research the cause that you pledge your heart to and decide how YOU change the world. This is a great movement overall and really shows the spirit of society versus the government. Go us! :)

Sometimes I feel I spread myself too thin. And that’s why I end up disappointed in people, it’s like putting so much money into a bank and finding out they’ve squandered it on their fuel guzzling jetplanes instead of planting trees. And then I tell myself, “Well, what do you expect? People are people, and banks are banks. Everybody makes mistakes and nobody is...

You guys, I just got my first internship!
And my best friend called me all the way from Australia and we talked about Sherlock, and life and how I have no plans at all and she has so many. And it was all so great.  I also got an unexpected reference from an old professor, whom I thought too busy, and found enough time to squeeze in two art fairs for the next three weeks. Life is looking so much better than last year!

blua: There are a few posts going around complaining about how Invisible Children is a Christian organization with Christian agendas and highly paid employees. I just want to say that 1.4 million dollars as payment for all employees in the largest and most successful organization against this crisis in…

I generally dislike telling anyone about how I...
Because suddenly it becomes not about the fact that I’m dealing with all of these emotions, but why. In an instant, it turns to judgement and skepticism. “What do you have to be sad about?” “What’s wrong with you?” “How bad could your life be?” No one will ever understand. So I don’t dare answer any of those questions. I don’t tell anyone about my deepest traumas. It’s not worth it. Because...
